SOLID STATE FAN SPEED CONTROLLER


The MSC1200B-WP controller provides stepless electronic speed control of single phase motors in fan and pump applications. For this controller, the MSC1200B controller is mounted on a HPM switch plate together with a switch mechanism and a knob. Speed may be varied manually between an adjustable minimum and the maximum motor speed.

 
SPECIFICATIONS
RATING


240 volt, 5 amp, 50/60Hz, 1200 VA up to 30 degrees C in free air. Derate at 30VA per degree C above 30 degrees C. Maximum controller case temperature 70 degrees C

 
MINIMUM SPEED SETTING


Screwdriver adjustment over a wide range of motor speed.

 
MOUNTING


The controller and other components are mounted on a HPM switch plate with dimensions 114mm x 70mm. Fixing hole centres are 84mm.

 
CONNECTIONS


Brass screw terminals at rear of the switch mechanism.

 


ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY


This controller is fitted with an Electromagnetic Interference suppression network, and complies with the requirements of AS/NZS1044:1995 when correctly installed. See data sheet for installation requirements.
