240 volts, 10 amp, 50/60 Hz, 2400VA up to 35 degrees C in free air.
Derate at 50VA per degrees C above 35 degrees C.

• a double insulated transformer which supplies the power requirements of the control module. The transformer is manufactured to BS415.

• opto coupling between the control module output and the motor power circuit. The isolation rating of the opto coupler is 7500 volts.

• the maximum motor speed which may be obtained from the remote control signals.

• the minimum motor speed which may be obtained from the remote control signals.

• the absolute minimum motor speed which over-rides any request from the remote control signals to operate at lower speeds.

As an alternative to the above, nominated maximum and minimum speed parameters may be built in during manufacture to avoid the need for field adjustment.

The controllers will accept the following optional signal inputs to control motor speed.
• 4 - 20 milliamps, or
• 0 - 5 volts, or
• 0 - 10 volts.
the above options are built into the controller during manufacture. In all options a potentiometer may be used to provide manual control, such as for initial calibration of input with motor speed.

At low levels of input signal, the controllers are designed to shut down, and then to resume normal operation when higher signal levels return. The levels of input at which auto turnoff occurs are:
• below 3 milliamps for 4 - 20 milliamp input
• below 0.75 volts for 0 to 5 or 0 - 10 volt input
• below 270 ohms for a 1k potentiometer control

To avoid operation of the controlled motor below recommended speed, an adjustment is provided which will over-ride any external signal to operate at lower speeds, unless the Auto Turnoff feature is being activated. This feature may also be set to be inoperative.

This controller is fitted with an Electromagnetic Interference suppression network, and complies with the requirements of AS/NZS1044:1995 when correctly installed.
