Ventilation that works for apartment living

Modern apartments need smart ventilation. Your residents want comfortable, fresh air. You need to meet building codes without dealing with noise complaints or energy bills that climb every quarter. That’s where we come in.

The challenges you’re dealing with

You know the issues. Steam lingers in bathrooms after showers. Cooking smells hang around in kitchens. Laundry rooms get humid and musty. Residents complain about noisy fans or leave them running constantly, wasting energy.

Building codes keep getting stricter on ventilation requirements. And when you’re working on retrofits, you’re dealing with tight spaces where standard solutions don’t always fit.

How our products solve this

We make fan controllers that handle ventilation automatically, so residents don’t have to think about it and you don’t have to worry about it.

Bathrooms that actually clear steam

When someone turns on the bathroom light, our Run-On Timers kick in. The fan starts running and keeps going for a set time after they leave, clearing all the moisture. No mould, no damage, no complaints.

The ROT6 is our go-to for apartments. It works with multiple inputs, so one fan can serve multiple bathrooms. It even has a start delay feature—if someone’s just brushing their teeth, the fan won’t bother turning on. But for a shower? It kicks in automatically.

Want to avoid those late-night fan noises? The timer cancel feature lets residents turn it off with a quick flick of the switch.

Kitchens without the lingering smells

Rangehoods are great, but they often need extra help. Our Current Sensors detect when the rangehood fan is actually running (not just the lights) and automatically switch on a booster fan or open a damper to a central riser.

The best part? The resident doesn’t touch anything extra. They use their rangehood like normal, and the ventilation system does the rest. No training required, no forgotten switches.

Laundries that stay dry

Dryers pump out hot, moist air that can quickly turn a laundry cupboard into a mould factory. Our Current Sensors detect when the dryer is running and automatically turn on an extraction fan.

The air gets pulled out while the dryer runs, then shuts off when it’s done. Better for the space, better for the dryer’s performance, and completely automatic.

Speed control where you need it

Sometimes you need to set a fan speed and leave it. Our Speed Limiters are perfect for air balancing during commissioning. Mount them on the fan, dial in the right speed, and you’re done.

For areas where residents need control—like kitchen exhaust systems—our Speed Controllers let them adjust the fan while you set the minimum speed. They can’t slow it down too much, but they can turn it up when they’re cooking up a storm.

Working with building management systems? Our Variable Speed Drives take 0-10V or 2-20mA signals and adjust fan speed based on your BMS or PLC requirements. Perfect for common areas and larger ventilation systems.

Got EC fans? Our 10k Pots give you precise speed control for those systems.

Why builders and developers work with us

Australian-made and backed by us. We design and manufacture everything locally. That means real technical support when you need it and repair services if something goes wrong. These are our products, and we stand behind them.

Two-year warranty. They’re built to last, but if something does happen, you’re covered.

Solutions that actually fit. Standard products don’t always work in apartment projects. We can customise to meet your specific needs—talk to us about what you’re working on.

Meet building standards without the headache. Our controllers help you tick the compliance boxes while keeping installation simple and residents happy.

Common combinations that work well

Many builders pair a Run-On Timer with a Current Sensor for laundry rooms—the sensor detects the dryer, the timer manages the run-on period.

For shared bathroom ventilation, the ROT6 handles multiple inputs perfectly. One fan, multiple bathrooms, all managed automatically.

Kitchen ventilation often works best with a Current Sensor triggering a booster fan, especially in apartment buildings with central exhaust risers.
